CPOMS
At Kenilworth Primary School, we use CPOMS (Child Protection Online Management System), a secure online system that helps our staff record and monitor any safeguarding or wellbeing concerns about our pupils. This allows us to identify patterns early, respond quickly and ensure children receive the right support at the right time.
Only trained staff members with individual, secure logins can access CPOMS, ensuring information is kept safe, confidential and in line with the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR.
Operation Encompass
We are part of Operation Encompass, a police and education early intervention safeguarding partnership. This means that if the police are called to an incident of domestic abuse where a child in our school is present, our DSL will be informed before the start of the next school day.
This allows us to provide immediate, appropriate support to children who may have been affected by domestic abuse, ensuring they feel safe and supported at school. We will handle all information sensitively and confidentially, working in partnership with families where appropriate.
